Happy Easter Wreath

Includes FREE ready-to-make Cricut Design Space project.

With Easter just around the corner, my daughter is always looking for new crafts to do.  She came up with this one for us to do together and its sooo easy!  I used my Cricut Maker to cut the words for the wreath, but you can hand write the words and cut them by hand.  BONUS!  I'm giving you free access to my Happy Easter Cricut Design Space project so all you have to do is MAKE IT!  The link is in step 6.

You will need the following:

Materials

  • A bag of cotton balls
  • Glue
  • Posterboard or cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Cricut Maker
  • Pink Card stock and White Card stock
  • Bunny Ear Template
  • Shiny/Holographic Permanent Vinyl
  • Circle object with 8-inch diameter to trace for the wreath
  • Circle object with 4-inch diameter to trace for the inner circle of the wreath

Step 1 - Trace the large circle object on posterboard or cardboard and cut it out

Step 2 - Trace the small circle object in the center of the large circle and cut it out.

Step 3 - Glue cotton balls close together all over the circle making sure to cover all the blank spaces.

Step 4 - Print, trace and cut Bunny Ear Template on White and Pink cardstock (instructions on template) and glue pieces together.

Step 5 - Glue the assembled bunny ears to the back of the wreath with the pink facing the front.

Step 6 - Apply the permanent vinyl to the sheet of cardstock BEFORE loading into the Cricut Maker, then cut the words Happy Easter.  Use this link to access the "Happy Easter" Cricut Design Space project: https://design.cricut.com/landing/project-detail/623a8cdf64242d1e5428389d

Step 7 - Glue the words across the center of the wreath.

And you're done!
